What makes a quote useful
Two things make the numbers you get back comparable rather than confusing:
- Say whether the plumbing moves. Keeping fixtures where they are is a different job from relocating a toilet, tub or shower drain, and it is the single biggest swing in the price.
- Say what finish level you have in mind. "Builder grade" and "tile everywhere" are both legitimate answers, but a quote written against the wrong one is not comparable to anything.
